Students posing with their competed cutting boards after the workshop!

Participants will learn to use woodworking machines at the Keystone Woodshop on campus to create a custom cutting board from a variety of wood species. By the end, participants will feel more confident using woodworking tools, have gained basic training, and will take home a beautiful, functional cutting board. (This workshop is recommended for those who have completed the Intro to Power Tools workshop).

If participants do not finish their piece during the workshop, a follow-up visit for final shaping, sanding, and finishing can be done anytime the woodshop is open.
