You’ll create a custom Testudo marquetry board using pre–laser-cut wooden pieces in a variety of wood species for you to select from. Participants will choose their colors, then assemble, glue, sand, and finish their design to create a personalized Testudo piece.
Objectives:
- Explore how different woods and tones can be combined to create visual contrast and depth
- Practice basic fabrication techniques including gluing, sanding, and finishing
- Complete a finished Testudo marquetry board ready for display or use
