The Instructional Electronics Shop (IES) is an open-access electronics shop available to all students and researchers, providing free access to basic electronics tools and equipment for completing projects. Our shop is equipped with oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, waveform generators, soldering stations, multimeters, consumables, SMD soldering tools, and more, spread across five workbenches.
The IES is open Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., during regular university hours. To begin using the shop, please join the TW Canvas course and complete the safety training along with the "IES Basics" and "Soldering" modules.Please note: Long pants are required for safety.
